JennajFotography etc.,

Thank you for visiting this site!  As I have said on my Facebook page @ jennaj.fotography...my inspiration behind starting a blog and the love of documenting life in photographs (the non-professional kind), has stemmed from the loss of loved ones in my life. After our loved ones have left this earth I can't imagine if we ever feel whole again, or as if we have enough memories of them stored away in the recessses of our minds. I know for sure i do not feel as if I have enough photos of their faces, their hands, their expressions or their hobbies and passions. So although I do enjoy "living in the moment " without a camera in my hand, I also love to document this life we are living... (mostly the candid moments). I can't imagine if I would of grown up in the world of smart phones and selfies! I am sure my mom would have been constantly saying "put that phone away."

I think Photography, the professional version and the messy, candid, unaltered version is fascinating. I still remember recieving my first camera for a gift as a little girl. It was an instant camera (still the coolest kind).  I loved it! I really admire professional photographers who wait hours for the perfect lighting and the perfect shot. I admire their work their patience and their tenacity. However, I truly love to see any photos. I love to see other people's perspective of what is interesting, inticate, unusual or beautiful to them.

The etc., part of my blog will be about anything and everything else! Yes, as a matter of fact, on occasion I tend to be a bit scatter brained. I like to think that the left side of my brain just takes over without warning and leaves me pondering about life in general!  I hope this will be a place you will come and visit often. I hope you will share your thoughts and ideas. Your travels, recipes, moments, photos and whatever might be your etc.,! Beyond "Fotography" this site will be an outlet for all the things we love to talk about. Such as healthy living, adventure, travel, FOOD, drinks, get togethers with family and friends and a quest to keep up with our partners, our kids, technology and the everchanging world!

By profession, I am an R.N. at a great hospital, with fantastic co-workers. I respect and appreciate the health care field. I feel fortunate to do what I do. It is a privelege and an honor to work intimately with people who are sick and maybe, just maybe make their day a little better.

Although I am not a professional photographer or blogger for that matter, I strive to be a better version of myself everyday. I think we all do, and I would love to hear about how you live your life!
